New Years Resolutions can work!

I promise they can. I’ve done it. I was surprised at the start of this year when asking friends what their new year’s resolution was to a common response of “I didn’t bother this year it’s not like anybody sticks to them anyway”. That’s awkward. I do. In the first week of every year I don’t just make a regular new year’s resolution I make a list of goals for the year. I usually have about 10-15 things on it, this year included some things like playing tennis, being Facebook free for one month and getting outdoors once a week. Last year I managed to accomplish most of the list, and yes there were a couple things I did not get to. However, had I not had the list printed and placed on my mirror to see every day, I don’t think I would’ve remembered or done many of those things I set out to do.
